The Hellenic Geomorphological Society welcomes all academics, professionals, enthusiasts and interested parties to participate in fulfilling its mission. A vision which is dedicated to imparting a broader knowledge and deeper appreciation of the geomorphological heritage of Greece. HGS actively supports research, education, expeditions and fieldwork in the discipline of Geomorphology.

Plans are in place to enrich the content of the HGS website. It is envisaged that by December 2012 the website will be fully functional.

The immediate objectives of HGS include:

• Preparation of the Greek-English and English-Greek Glossary of Geomorphological Terms and Definitions
• Creation of the Geomorphological Map of Greece at a scale of 1:1000000
