In the past, the Hellenic Geomorphological Society in the framework of its activities, has hosted speeches by globally prominent speakers such as Assoc. Prof. Mauro Soldati from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy and Prof. Andrew Candy from the University of Brighton, UK who have presented on topics such as Title: "Landslides and climate changes in the Italian Alps: an overview" and Title: "Assessing hazards, sea-level change and human impact applied geochemistry and the recent sedimentary record" respectively.
